Love sets alarms so I can wake up on time, even when they don’t have to.

Love lets me sleep in.

Love turns off the ac as soon as I mention I’m cold.

Love turns down the volume of the tv as soon as I close my eyes.

Love put me on their Costco membership.

Love asks me if I need anything from the store.

Love spoils me.

Love kisses me like they are going off to war.

Love believes in me, and speaks life into me.

Love makes my literal dreams come true.

When I was younger, I always thought love had to be loud and difficult.

I’m so happy to learn that I was wrong.

That love can be gentle, patient, and kind

And exactly what I need.
